Grower’s Choice Anthurium Ace Velvet F2 x Besseae Aff Seedling
Grower’s choice: I will choose the biggest and healthiest seedling to send to its new home.
This anthurium hybrid’s seed parent is the Ace Velvet F2, which is an unknown hybrid from Plants and Pampering. It has beautiful golden emergent leaves with a long heart shape and thick, velvety texture. The pollen parent is my Besseae aff with round, dark leaves. The besseae portrays black emergent leaves that fade to dark green with iridescence.
These are first generation seedlings, each individual seedling will grow and present with different characteristics from each parent plant.
They are potted up in my chunky aroid soil mix in a deep, 2.5” pot. These seedlings are currently growing in a greenhouse setting with 70-80% humidity.
